On Saturday 23rd June 2018 Xperience Dynamics Director, Gerry O’Neill, along with a team of volunteers will take on the Scottish Summit Ben Nevis, in aid of Meningitis Now. In support of a great cause, Xperience Dynamics will also provide a guide for the event to ensure things run smoothly and safely!
Located in Scotland and standing at 1,345 metres above sea level, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. A tough challenge for the group of volunteers, but a challenge with the aim of raising precious funds and awareness for Meningitis Now.
Gerry O’Neill, Director at Xperience Dynamics comments, “My son’s best friend Kyle died suddenly on the 5th December 2017. He had contracted a rare form of Meningitis and unfortunately didn’t show the usual symptoms associated with the disease. In memory of their friend, my son John and 10 of his friends decided to climb Ben Nevis to raise funds for charity Meningitis Now. Some of the Dads including Kyle’s Dad and myself are also attempting to climb the mountain, so we have been in training for a few months to get prepared!”
Gerry adds, “Xperience Dynamics have kindly sponsored one of the Guides for the climb, which will hopefully make it safer and easier to reach the summit. I’m not really looking forward to it but will definitely enjoy a pint at the end.”
The team across Xperience Group wish the team of volunteers he very best of luck!
