Swiftpage has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of Saleslogix to Infor, with the acquisition expected to be complete within the next few weeks.
Bob Anderson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Swiftpage International, said the following, “We are excited about this acquisition because of the clear fit of Saleslogix with Infor’s strategy. Saleslogix will complement Infor’s Marketing Management products and add strong sales and service functionality to Infor’s industry-focused Cloud Suites.”
This transition represents an enormous opportunity for the Saleslogix CRM software and its customers. Infor plan to make substantial investments in developing the software through increased scalability, revitalised user interface, and industry-specific functionality to unify front and back-office data and processes. In addition, Saleslogix will integrate with their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and finance systems, which will enable users to take advantage of a comprehensive, yet affordable CRM solution.
Charles Phillips, CEO of Infor, said, “Infor’s industry applications have a vast repository of information on a customer’s overall interactions derived from deep industry processes we automate and we’ll build in context analytics that deliver unique customer insight.”
