The first Xperience Auto Enrolment Workshops took place last month and were a resounding success. Customers in attendance reported they benefited from the insight and advice on how to prepare for the Auto Enrolment legislation. Due to increased demand new dates have been announced for December 2013 and the New Year.
Auto Enrolment, the new pension legislation, is making an impact across businesses in the UK. Auto Enrolment requires all UK companies to automatically enrol all eligible employees into a qualifying pension scheme. The new Pension regulation has been introduced to address Government findings that many British workers are not making sufficient financial provision for their retirement. Over a six year period which began in 2012, all companies have been given a date by which time they have to have a scheme in place, also known as a Staging Date.
Many businesses that have already compliant with Auto Enrolment have indicated it is complex and detailed legislation and they underestimated the amount of administration required. Taking on board the feedback Xperience are committed to supporting all of their customers and want to help all of them prepare.
