Published: 11 April 2016

On Thursday 18th February, Xperience Group hosted a Business Fitness Session to get businesses in the North West fitter, exploring the long-term benefits of Office 365 and how it can increase business productivity.

At the event, held at Roe Park Resort in Limavady, the guests from local businesses learnt how Office 365 can encourage growth, increasing productivity and profitability. Xperience Group in partnership with Microsoft and BT, explored the power of Office 365 to boost business performance and enable ‘anytime-anywhere’ access to your business information.

Xperience Group’s Director, Patrick Leggett commented “We were thrilled to partner with Microsoft and BT to showcase the potential of Office 365 to local small and mid-sized businesses. I believe this workshop was a fantastic opportunity for forward-thinking businesses across the North West to meet Office 365 experts and learn from other businesses that leveraged the benefits of the platform.”

Northern Ireland is at the forefront of fibre broadband availability in Europe. With this in mind, Philip Dixon from BT discussed a range of broadband options available for the businesses to enhance collaboration and ensure continuous service. Jonathan Eustace from Microsoft Dublin demonstrated Office 365 collaboration tools that by allowing anytime and anywhere access to business files can increase business productivity by 42 per cent.

The delegates had also an opportunity to hear first-hand experiences from Office 365 adopters, Grants Electrical Services Group, and discuss how the platform could help them achieve business objectives for 2016 and beyond.

Darron Mark, Technical Business Advisor at Xperience Group, commented on the event, “What peaked the most amount of interest was our ability to tailor Office 365 to the needs of the individual user within the business, as well as flexible payment options. This means companies can choose the most convenient package and subscription model that suits their needs allowing for the ability to scale up or down as and when required.”

At the end of the workshop, there was a prize draw for a Microsoft 10” tablet and voucher to spend at Roe Park Resort. The lucky winners were Gerard McTeague from Peden Power Products and Jason Stoclock who won the voucher and tablet respectively.
