MCS drives Digital Transformation & Efficiency with Xperience

Published: 8 January 2025

Xperience is proud to announce its partnership with Maintenance and Contracting Services Ltd (MCS), a leading facilities maintenance provider in the commercial and office sectors. MCS, with around 10 employees, has chosen Xperience to support their digital transformation goals, focusing on enhanced productivity, improved reporting, and streamlined workflows, while aligning with their existing Microsoft investments.

As a Mechanical & Electrical fit-out contractor in the construction sector, MCS recognised the limitations of their legacy ERP solution and set ambitious targets for the project. The key objectives included improved productivity through modern technologies such as optical character recognition, AI, and business intelligence; enhanced reporting and visibility using tools like Excel and Power BI; a reduction in IT support overheads with a reliable cloud-based platform; and seamless integration with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, which they had already invested in.

“Xperience has given us the knowledge and support needed to transform our vision into a realistic project roadmap,” said John Gray, IT Manager at MCS. “The sales experience with Alex Doran, (Senior Sales Specialist, Xperience) and Andrew Cavey, (Chief Commercial Officer) was superb, setting clear and realistic expectations from the start. Throughout the process, the project managers have been accessible and responsive, helping us understand our progress every step of the way.”

Xperience’s approach includes the integration of industry standard codes for maintenance, job dispatch tools to support remote workers, and a system aligned with MCS’s parent company for seamless accounting and procurement support. These efforts aim to optimise MCS’s workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce workloads, ultimately driving profitability as the business grows.

“The service we’re receiving from Xperience is essential for our business. We’re already seeing benefits in optimised workflows and increased efficiency, which fills us with confidence for the future,” added John Gray.

“Through this collaboration, Xperience is committed to supporting MCS’s growth by delivering an ERP solution that meets the needs of a modern facilities maintenance business, fully integrated with Microsoft technology and equipped with cutting-edge tools to drive productivity and business intelligence,” Alex Doran.
