Xperience Group is proud to announce it will be supporting BBC Children in Need this year. For the entire week, from 12-16th November, Xperience will aim to maximise fundraising opportunities for the children’s charity.
With the aftermath of the double-dip recession still affecting the UK, over a quarter of British charities seeing a decrease in fundraising income (UK Charities Commission). With this in mind, Xpereince Group want to dig deep and help those less fortunate – with a big fundraising push for the BBC children’s charity this November.
In previous years, Xperience Group has run fundraising activities for Children in Need exclusively on the day. However, this year they are increasing efforts, by introducing a week full week of fundraising activities in order to exceed previous totals.
Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of Xperience Group, commented “Organising this year’s activities for Children in Need has really brought the office together. With everyone giving the events full support it is set to be a huge success. Everybody at DMC is looking forward to having a great week, and raising some money for charity at the same time!”
The main event of Xperience’s fundraising week is “Fancy Dress Friday”, rounding off a week full of charitable activities. The theme is Children’s Characters; with DMC Employees failing to arrive in fancy dress paying a £10 forfeit. Additional activities, throughout the week include a pay as you play gaming lunch break, bake sale and raffle – with sought after prizes donated by local businesses including, Halo Nightclub.
