On Wednesday 8th June Xperience Group hosted a workshop at Digital DNA 2016 educating delegates on how to ‘Leverage the Cloud’ for business productivity and gains.
Digital DNA is Belfast’s largest business technology conference which welcomes a host of delegates from businesses around the world, inspiring businesses to grow through a series of engaging digital workshops. Xperience educated the crowd on how to ‘Leverage the Cloud’ with an insightful talk about the rate of change in technology and the adoption of Cloud technology, including Office 365.
Director, Patrick Leggett’s presentation highlighted how far IT has come in the last 30 years, he remarked “We are now in the third phase of the internet of things, devices are connected across networks and we are becoming a networked society. However surprisingly 87% of people don’t know that the term “internet of things” means; hence why it is crucial for businesses to leverage the latest cloud technologies and keep up to speed with the rapid pace of change within their industry”. Accompanying Patrick and providing valuable insight was Richard Kennedy, cloud specialist, John Murray Office 365 specialist and Jonny Weir, technical business advisor, from Xperience Group.
Xperience customers Aaron Rossi, from Relay Software, and Aidan Walsh, from McAvoy Group, joined the panel discussion sharing their experience of adopting cloud. Aaron provided a first-hand account of how they currently leverage the cloud, commenting, “Moving to the cloud allows us to consume more as our business grows, not to mention the next level resilience and security benefits associated with the cloud”. Aidan, added “As a company who have adopted to Office 365, we have seen significant advantages; our staff now benefit from having secure remote access to centralised data, which is imperative to our business”.
The workshop provided fantastic opportunity for forward-thinking businesses in Northern Ireland to learn from the experts and other businesses who have embraced the cloud. If you missed the workshop and would like information on how your business can ‘Leverage the Cloud’ email [email protected].
