On Thursday 26th May Xperience Group hosted an Office 365 Lunch & Learn event in Derry/Londonderry to educate local businesses on the benefits of Office 365 and how it can drive workforce productivity.
The Event, held at The Northern Ireland Science Park in Derry welcomed a host of professionals from local businesses. Alongside Microsoft, Xperience informed delegates on how businesses can increase productivity, profitability and business growth by leveraging the latest technology.
Patrick Leggett, Director at Xperience Group, provided invaluable insight into the rapid pace of change within IT industry, and the importance for businesses to adapt in order to remain competitive and relevant. He comments, “Its important businesses have exposure to where the IT industry is headed. Without that information it is so easy to be left behind by the competition. With Microsoft on hand we were able to educate businesses on the next big thing and show them how they can capitalise.”
Microsoft expert Jonathan Eustace presented a guided demonstration of Office 365. The interactive session provided delegates with an insight into how Office 365 can give them the ability to access data, collaborate with staff and communicate with colleagues from any location, giving them a huge competitive advantage.
A live poll conducted during the interactive Question & Answer session at the close of the event resulted in 100% of delegates agreeing that Office 365 would be beneficial to their organisation. Once fully informed on the capabilities of Office 365, 0% of the audience felt that the on-premise Office suite could meet their business needs.
During the workshop, a prize draw was held, giving delegates the chance to win a Microsoft tablet. The lucky winner was Donna McLaughlin of Little Treasures Day Nursery in Limavady.
