Infor, a leading provider of business software, recently announced that their CRM offering had been recognised as a Leader in Nucleus Research’s latest Technology Value Matrix.
Infor acquired Saleslogix in September 2014, renaming the pioneering system as Infor CRM. They have since made significant investments in research and development for the product, which have proved successful, shown through recent industry recognition from Nucleus Research.
Nucleus Research are the leading global investigative IT research firm. They provide real-world insight into technology value. As part of their research they place vendors within a value matrix and added to a category based on their advances in usability and functionality in sales, marketing and customer service.
Vice president of research at Nucleus Research, Rebecca Wettemann, explains why Infor CRM have gained this recognition, “Infor moves into the Leaders quadrant of this Matrix for the first time this fall based on its continued investment in user interface design and its acquisition of the assets of Saleslogix, adding sales and service functionality to Infor’s rich existing marketing capabilities.”
This CRM Leader recognition certifies Infor’s strategy for delivering outstanding user experience along with industry-specific functionality. As Rebecca Wettemann predicts, “In looking at the evolving application and Infor’s continued user interface efforts through its Hook & Loop design firm, Nucleus expects to see Infor become a more formidable competitor on usability in the CRM suite space.”
It is the ongoing investments in usability and functionality, especially within analytics, marketing, and social collaboration, as well as acquisition activity that have caused significant movement in this edition of the Matrix.
